How do I create a strategy on Wellat?

Go to your Trader dashboard and click 'Create a strategy'. You'll fill in two forms — the first covers your strategy name, type (Spot or HoDL), a description, and your profit split percentage. The second sets your base currency (USDT) and the amount you want to fund the strategy with. After reviewing a confirmation summary, click 'Create' to go live.

What is the difference between a Spot strategy and a HoDL strategy?

A Spot strategy uses the traditional trading terminal where you can place Limit, Market, Stop Limit, and Stop Market orders across multiple crypto pairs. A HoDL strategy allows you to swap into a cryptocurrency and hold it, then swap back later to realize your profit or loss. Copiers mirror whichever approach you use.

How does the profit split work between me and my copiers?

When you create a strategy, you set a profit split percentage — for example, a 30/70 ratio means you receive 30% of the profit made on your copiers' accounts while they keep 70%. This fee is only charged when profit is actually generated; if a copier does not make money, you do not get paid.

Can I close a strategy after copiers have already joined?

Yes. On your trading terminal, click 'Close Strategy' and confirm by selecting 'Yes, close'. When a strategy is closed, all running trades are settled in profit or loss, funds are returned to copiers, and any profit is split according to the profit share ratio you set. This action cannot be reversed, so confirm carefully before proceeding.

How can I monitor the performance of my strategy?

From 'My Strategies', click 'Go to strategy details' on any strategy. You'll see a full performance breakdown including a Profitability chart across daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly views, a Skills radar (Accuracy, Track-record, Risk Management, Outlier Trades, Profit Factor), Portfolio stats like AUM and followers, and a full Trading History log.

What is Wellat and how does it work?

Wellat is a crypto copy trading platform where copiers automatically mirror the trades of verified expert traders and bots. You pick a strategy you like, allocate funds to it, and every trade the strategy manager places is replicated proportionally in your own account — no manual trading required on your part.

Do I need trading experience to use Wellat?

No experience is required to invest on Wellat. As a copier, you simply browse available strategies, review their performance data and risk scores, and follow the one that suits your goals. The platform handles all trade execution automatically. If you want to become a Strategy Manager, some trading knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory to get started.

Is KYC (identity verification) mandatory?

KYC is required to access key platform features including deposits, withdrawals, swaps, and transfers. You can sign up and explore your dashboard without completing KYC, but you will see a 'Verify Now' prompt encouraging you to complete it. You can only edit your profile details before KYC is completed, so it's best to verify early.

How do I switch between being a Trader and a Copier?

Use the Trader/Copier toggle button at the top right of your dashboard. Clicking it switches your active view between Trader mode and Copier (Investor) mode. Both modes share the same account and wallet, so your balance and funds remain the same regardless of which mode you are in.

What is my Wellat Tag and what is it used for?

Your Wellat Tag is a unique ID automatically assigned to your account when you sign up — for example, 'Tag: Sam'. It is displayed just below your name on the dashboard and is used exclusively for internal transfers within the Wellat platform. To send crypto to another Wellat user, you only need their Tag.
